HEALTH Year PP-6

Our Health program aims to develop students' knowledge, understanding, and skills to support their health and well-being, encompassing areas like personal hygiene, healthy eating, and safe behaviors. 

LOTE (Japanese) Years 1-6

Our LOTE program involves learning Japanese as a second language with a focus on both language and culture. Japan has a very vibrant culture, and students will learn about different Japanese customs, places and products. Students will learn how to read and write Japanese characters along with speaking and listening to common Japanese words and sentences. This will prepare students for High School if they decide to further their Japanese education.

MUSIC Years PP-6

MPS offers a lively and engaging music program for Pre-Primary to Year 6 students in a well-equipped music room. Students participate in a range of musical performances both at school and around Perth. Year 4 to 6 students can join the Senior Choir, performing regularly at events like the WAGSMS Concert Series, Darlington Arts Festival, and for Aged Care residents. The school is part of IMSS (Instrumental Music School Services) provider, offering instrumental lessons in small groups for guitar, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, flute, and percussion, taught at a local high school.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION Years PP-6

Our Physical Education program focusses on Fundamental Movement Skills and participation in a wide range of activities and sports. Students learn teamwork and important sporting values that they can continue to use at any time in their lives. Our school also participates in many school, interschool and state competitions including Swimming, Winter Sports, Cross Country, Football, Athletics and Cricket.
