Our Modernised School Logo
The original MPS Logo has been with the school since the move to the new site in 1981. The logo was modelled off the Shire of Mundaring's logo and slightly modified to emphasise the hills in the background. This logo was professionally digitised about 8 years ago.
Since becoming an IPS (Independent Public School), we worked to create a ‘brand' for Mundaring Primary School. This brand is the image or idea of what MPS means to us (the school community) and the external community. Part of this process included the modernisation of our school logo. This then led into consistent and clear signage around the school, wayfinding signs to help direct people around the school, consistent and professional digital images on school documents, plus more in time.
The link below shows the steps that we took (with the digital marketing company, Razoreye) to modernise the original MPS logo. We will always celebrate the heritage of our school and its logo. This logo is still seen around the school and will do for years to come.
