School Improvements

As was evident at last Friday’s assembly, continued enrolment growth (340 at the moment) is putting a strain on our existing infrastructure. Space in the undercover area is at a premium and so we have developed a plan to address this situation.

As was evident at last Friday’s assembly, continued enrolment growth (340 at the moment) is putting a strain on our existing infrastructure. Space in the undercover area is at a premium and so we have developed a plan to address this situation.

Through the essential support of the P&C, we have developed a plan to fund and build an extension to the current undercover area which will include enclosing the free standing shade structure, placing roller shutters inside and outside the new extension and adding a storage shed for the stage and PE equipment.

With this new facility, we will be able to setup our stage under the newly extended undercover area, leaving more room for students and parents at assemblies, while also allowing concerts to be presented to the grassed area by opening the roller shutter on that side.  

This project is expected to cost approximately $60,000 and take two years to finish. Funding will come from both the school’s budget and P&C fundraising.
