Our Early Childhood were introduced to Kayah the new Indigenous doll in Playschool and learnt all about the Waugyl and creatwd art with a string and pipe cleaner activity. They also discussed and coloured in the Indigenous flag.

Our junior primary students were involved in activities which included creating and painting the Indigenous flag, listening to dreamtime stories and creating a poster on the theme 'Always Was, Always Will Be'.

Students in Jacoby block created dot art with a story discussion of Aboriginal people’s use of the land in HASS, discussed the Rainbow Serpent & Waugyl using Noongar words and read Indigenous books and creating a poster on the theme 'Always Was, Always Will Be'.

Our upper Primary students were working with their younger buddy classes to learn Noongar words and create collaborative indigenous artwork.
