With plenty of negative media attention regarding this year's NAPLAN Online program, I want to assure parents that we have things under control at Mundaring PS.

As reported in the media, it seems that many schools around the country have had to switch to backup paper tests due to infrastructure glitches with the online nature of the national testing program this year.

I am happy to report that while we have experienced some challenges with the new system, we have managed to ensure all students have been able to complete the assessments online despite the ‘glitches’ and without any tears!

Huge kudos to Mrs Hendrie, Mr Tinniswood, Mr Tonkin and Mrs Goodfield for their coordination of the NAPLAN Online program this year and thanks to the classroom teachers and students for their support and patience as we have resolved the issues.

Parents of Year 3 & 5 students who have missed NAPLAN tests due to absences are advised that 'catchup' sessions will be offered and they should speak to their child's teacher for more information regarding this.
